About Me

Lauren Duncanson is a bold, nuanced, and multi-faceted non-union performer, who just completed her first year in NYC! Lauren grew up in The Arts District in Los Angeles, which sparked her love for performing at a young age. While in LA, Lauren has performed as a soloist, backup singer, and dancer for televised charity events with artists including Andra Day, Debbie Allen, and Chance the Rapper, working and training with award winning choreographers such as Mandy Moore and Brian Friedman. Since then, Lauren has been performing consistently and diligently honing her craft in a wide range of styles of voice, acting, dance, and movement.

Most recent professional credits include lead roles in the musical productions The Girl Who Cried Different, Sugar, and Daughters in The Finger Lakes New Works Festival. Additionally, Lauren recently made her professional film debut in Zia Anger's "My First Film", streaming on Mubi. She also starred in many films with the Ithaca College Park School, as well as several student produced theatre productions.

Lauren Duncanson acquired her BFA from Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in May 2025. She finished out her senior year starring as Sandra Capulet in the staged premiere of Blunted Daggers by Dani Stoller, serving as the Intimacy Captain. She has been seen as Bailiff in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, in Momentum: A Dance Concert, and performed in Fever/Dream, whilst juggling the roles of Intimacy, Fight, and Dance Captain! She is certified in unarmed stage combat, so watch out!!!

Lauren is based in New York City, consistently auditioning and pursuing opportunities in musical theatre, film/tv and more!
